City council special session adjourned, Stillwater Utility Authority called to order

General Orders

a.       Bid recommendation for the annual high voltage line clearance tree trimming and tree removal services contract

Utilities Authority Director Dan Blankenship recommended the SUA approve the contract for tree trimming.

Trustees approved 5-0.

SUA special session is adjourned; City Council called to order

Resolutions

a.       Resolution No. CC-2014-7: Resolution regarding commitment of leverage for the Oklahoma Department of Commerce community development block grant

Councilors approved 5-0.

a.       Ordinance No. 3265: Ordinance closing a portion of the utility easements at property addressed as 1400 N. Boomer Rd., 1298 N. Knoblock St. and 601-661 W. Bennett Ave.

b.      Ordinance No. 3266: Ordinance amending the Stillwater city code, parks, events and recreation, sales of goods

d.      Ordinance No. 3267: Ordinance amending Stillwater city code, food service operators, itinerant merchants and peddlers, sales on streets and other public places prohibited

General Orders

a.       Review and discussion of the Community Housing Study

Development Services Director Paula Dennison presented the community housing study data, and recommended policy considerations to address housing for the future.
