Development Services Director
Paula Dennison presented the program draft. Vice Mayor Joe Weaver wanted to
know why the program was being presented now. Dennison said it had to do with
high occupancy rates in rental properties and discussions at previous meetings.
Councilor Pat Darlington said she
liked it because it’s not just about calling when something it broken. City
Manager Dan Galloway also said he liked it because students looking at housing
could see which places were up to code.
